Various factors are considered before an investor comes on board:

 

• The importance of the funding to IKEA, how much our company is worth or has been valued.
• What percentage of the total company value does the investors' funding represent and what additional value (intangible) will they bring?
• We search for investors that have a significant industry expertise or interest. Possessing the knowledge of the Indian market will lead to benefits that will extend well beyond finance. e.g. having investors with knowledge of the Indian market or delivery would be an advantage.
• Considering these we aim to offer a rate of return ranging 5-20%
