It is possible that political regulation in India may change overtime and in some case in favour of local competitor.  In situations where Indian government is willing to promote local competition, higher corporate tax or tariff could be placed upon foreign organization, halting IKEA competiveness in Indian market. Although this is not very likely, it is an important consideration for IKEA.
